The Iwasaki Foundation was established by the generosity of the late benefactors, Mr. & Mrs. Yohachiro Iwasaki, and the initiative of Rockhampton businessman, the late Mr. Les Duthie. It was established for the purposes of providing subsidized, Motel-style, week long (approximately) Holidays for needy persons including the disadvantaged, infirm and aged.
The Subsidised Holiday Scheme with the assistance of the Management of the Bayview Tower, since May 2008, have been accommodating and assisting Iwasaki Foundation guests to enjoy a most memorable and fun filled holiday.
